Transputec scores double whammy as finalist in CRN Channel Awards

The Managed Service Provider model of delivering information technology services is becoming increasingly popular among enterprises as the cost and complexity of running your own network increases. This has brought growth and competitiveness in the MSP sector, which is undoubtedly to the benefit of clients.

We conduct regular customer satisfaction surveys, to ensure that we are meeting the high standards that we set for ourselves, and the latest results show that 90% plus of our clients are very satisfied with the technical service that we provide and would recommend us to others.

So, in this thriving and increasingly competitive sector, we are doubly delighted that Transputec has been shortlisted as a finalist in a number of prestigious annual industry awards. The latest of which is for two categories in the CRN Channel Awards 2017.

Only last week, our incident management tool, Crises Control, and cutting edge behavioural monitoring tool, ThreatSpike, were jointly shortlisted for the prestigious CIR Risk Management Awards 2017. Last month, we had three short-listed nominations in the Computing Cloud Excellence Awards.

The judging criteria for these latest, CRN Channel Awards entries, was rigorous and we have been up against strong competition from fellow industry leaders. As a long-established IT services and solutions innovator, it is fitting that we have made it to the final shortlist in the categories of MSP of the Year and CyberSecurity VAR of the year.

CyberSecurity VAR category

Judges narrowed the field of finalists to just three, including Transputec. They were impressed by nominees that could demonstrate robust business growth in CyberSecurity Solutions. Transputec acts as a VAR for a cutting edge cyber security behavioural monitoring solution called ThreatSpike. We also act as the leading UK VAR for a marketing leading penetration testing solution called Cronus. This side of our business is exploding at the moment and we see it becoming a very significant element within the next 12 months.

MSP of the Year category

Judges were seeking evidence of how award entrants added value to customers, as well as investment in people and vendor accreditations. Earlier this year, Transputec sought and was awarded its ISO 27001 certification, on our very first attempt.

We had an outstanding year in 2016, with an exceptionally strong balance sheet and an increase in revenue figures of over 15%. Transputec took on 45 new customers during the year, including global financial services, retail, logistics and manufacturing companies, and international NGOs.

The Transputec Academy reflects our commitment to our team by providing continuous training and professional development that keeps us on top of our game. It’s thanks to their efforts that we have got this far in these prestigious awards. Of course we hope to go much further and look forward to the CRN Channel Awards presentations ceremony in Battersea London, on 16 November, when the winners will be announced.
