Erik Bagger shared his thoughts on completion of his work experience with Transputec:
I’m currently in my third year at Swansea University and I’m working in the AI division at Transputec.
First of all I’ve had a great experience working closely with Nikhil Sehgal in the AI department of Transputec.
I’ve learned a great deal in my short time here. I’ve learned about machine learning, deep learning and AI neural network systems. I’ve also had the pleasure to visit the IBM headquarters and learn a little about the companies and competitors. I’ve learned a great deal about how to network, both myself and the company that I’m working on. I’ve also learned a great deal about start-ups and which position to take, which steps to take when building a company from the ground-up.
I’ve also learned a great deal of communication skills within a team and I think this will help me greatly in the future, especially if I want to start my own business or do anything like that.
