1. How did you apply for the role?
I applied for the internship through The Intern Group and had interviews with two different companies. I was really excited to start working with Transputec because I felt a strong connection to their mission and goals.
2. Do you feel you are valued and supported in the company?
Yes, Working with the team from different departments made me feel valued and supported. It has been my best experience, and I am grateful for having had this opportunity.
3. Can you talk about your experience working for Transputec, and what work you get involved in? What team members you have interacted with and what areas of business?
I have experience in different areas such as software testing and development, business analysis, and translation. In testing, I learned how to test manually and with automation using the C# programming language with Selenium. I also gained skills in investigating issues and writing detailed reports.
Attending meetings taught me how to interact professionally with others. I believe it’s important for students to gain real-world experience after their studies. This has helped me improve my skills in dealing with people and negotiation.
Receiving training within a forward-thinking company dedicated to service development and the integration of cutting-edge tools has been instrumental in fostering my continual professional growth and adept handling of tasks.
4. What is one thing that surprised you about Transputec once you joined?
Organized and cooperative
I’ve gained a lot from having discipline and staying organized at work. You can learn a lot from your training experiences, but not every place emphasizes the importance of organization, discipline, and staying engaged. These have been the most valuable lessons for me in my journey.
