After a challenging 18 months across the IT Services industry, receiving a whopping seven nominations for leading industry awards has been a fantastic reminder of what our hardworking teams across Transputec have achieved. We are particularly proud that we are finalists for Managed Services Provider of the Year across all the foremost industry awards for 2021.
CRN Channel Awards
We are honoured to be shortlisted at the CRN Channel Awards finalists in not one but four categories, including Managed Services Provider of the Year. Our Managed Services division has performed strongly over the last year, working with new and existing clients including national not-for-profit organisations, retail, logistics and financial services companies. Due to our public cloud expertise, credibility, and world class customer satisfaction, we have managed to withhold our high standards of services delivery, despite the uncertain market conditions.
We are shortlisted for:
- Managed Services Provider (MSP) of the Year
- Corporate Reseller of the Year
- Reseller of the Year – sub £100m turnover
- Best Lockdown Project/Initiative
We’re also excited to be nominated for Best Lockdown Initiative. This is a new category which highlights successful projects that demonstrate people pulling together for a common goal under difficult circumstances. For Transputec, this award nomination is for Thermavis, a new thermal scanner launched in 2020 by Transputec. The Thermavis Multi-Person Thermal Scanner accurately reads the skin temperature of up to six people at once and was designed to help businesses and organisations quickly and efficiently detect individuals who are carrying a fever – one of the primary symptoms of Covid-19.
The winners will be announced at the Channel Awards on 11th November and we look forward to celebrating in person with our industry colleagues.
PCR Awards – MSP Specialist of the Year
Having won this award in 2017, 2018 and 2020, we are once again delighted to have been nominated for PCR Awards, MSP Specialist of the Year. The PCR Awards celebrates the very best in the UK PC and Tech industry and aims to recognise the hard work, dedication and resilience shown oven the past year.
The pressure is on to keep hold on this prestigious title. However, we are confident as our continued success has always been due to our commitment to deliver technical and market innovations that add real value to our clients. We strive to go above and beyond just selling them hardware and software.
Last year the awards were hosted by Claudia Winkelman who our team were very excited to meet! This year the awards are on 29th September, and we wait with anticipation to see who will be presenting the awards!
Cloud Excellence Awards – MSP of the Year
The 2021 Cloud Excellence Awards, recognise the very best of the UK’s cloud industry and we’re thrilled to have been shortlisted for MSP of the Year. With categories covering every aspect of the cloud, they recognise most the innovative and compelling products and vendors across the industry.
Last year, Transputec saw a significant growth in public cloud services as customers explore and adopt the range of services and security from public cloud providers. With our experience and expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, we have supported many clients with independent strategic cloud advice, migration, and implementation services, via our low risk tried and tested methodology – ensuring adoption of any new services aligns to defined business imperatives.
This year’s winners will be announced at a live awards ceremony on Thursday 23rd September, and it will be great to see our cloud industry colleagues in person again.
CRN Women in Channel Awards – Ethnic Diversity Champion Award
And last but not least, once again Transputec has made the shortlist for this year’s CRN Women in Channel Awards which celebrate and recognise women from all areas and levels in the channel.
In 2020, Service Desk and Support Manager, Anca Otet won Manager of the Year at the awards. This year we are thrilled to be one of two finalists in the Ethnic Diversity Champion Award. This is a new category for us, and we’re proud we have made it to the final as we are dedicated to supporting all female talent within Transpuetc, so it’s great to be recognised for this.
We plan to celebrate with our colleague’s and role models in person at the Brewery in London on 14th October.
Customer Satisfaction – Net Promoter Scores
We attribute much of our success to maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction and sustaining excellent client relationships. Customer satisfaction, retention rate and the willingness of customers to recommend your services (Net Promoter Score) are the key metrics to demonstrate the value that you are adding to your clients.
For the period April 2020 to June 2021 our scores were:
- Customer Happiness Rating – 95% happy
- Customer Satisfaction Rating – 96% great or good
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) – 74%
- Customer Retention Rate – 96%
With over 30 years of delivering managed services for around 400 customers, we are proud of our longevity in a constantly changing – and challenging sector.
