Transputec’s IaaS spans Azure, AWS and our own UK data centres, with everything monitored and managed by our UK-based engineering team under ISO 27001 controls. How much does Infrastructure as a Service cost in the UK?

UK IaaS pricing is consumption-based: typically £25-80 per vCPU/month, plus £0.05-0.15 per GB storage/month, plus bandwidth at near-cost. What’s the difference between IaaS, PaaS and SaaS?

IaaS gives you raw compute and storage, you bring the OS, runtime and application. PaaS adds the runtime and middleware (you bring just the code). SaaS gives you the fully-finished application (you bring just the data). Most mid-market estates use all three. Where will my data be hosted?

By default, all workloads run in UK regions of Microsoft Azure (UK South / UK West) or AWS (London). For regulated estates we also offer dedicated tenancy in our own UK data centres. Your data never leaves the UK without your explicit written approval. GDPR, ICO and FCA reporting comes as standard monthly output.
