Crises Control, the mass notification, multi-channel, business continuity platform and crisis response solution, has been nominated as the Most innovative Product of the Year in the prestigious CIR Business Continuity Awards 2016. Built in 2014 by a tech company for their own clients, Crises Control was so successful that Transputec took its development up a level, adding to its user experience and incorporating a number of features unique in the field, before launching it on the open market.
Rickie Sehgal, Chairman of Crises Control, said: “I am delighted that we have won the title of Most Innovative Product of the Year in the BC Awards 2016. This is recognition of the hard work and design excellence that we have put into making Crises Control an innovative and unique solution in the field of business continuity planning. Our aim is to simplify the business of managing disasters and disaster simulation at a cost that every business can afford.”
Martyn Waller, Group Services Director at Crises Control customer, Higgins Group, said “We have been using CC for some months now. We used it for the first time for a real incident to inform staff that telephone lines were all down into our Head Office. The response team were already on site when the incident happened, so we used CC to inform key staff. The response was really good. The CC platform allowed us to get round the phone outage and communicate with our staff very quickly and effectively. The response reporting function also allows us to track who didn’t respond and find out why. This is really helpful to learn lessons for future incidents.”
Matt Kennedy, Head of IT Services at Crises Control customer, Incisive Media, said “Crises Control is a unique application in the field of business continuity, in that it was originally built for in-house use by the company that developed it to support their own clients. This has given the platform an unusually customer-centred focus, built for the needs of the customer rather than the preferences of the company selling it. For me, Crises Control stands out in a crowded field because it continually strives to provide an easy-to-use, action ready, business disruption solution.”
Crises Control has a number of innovative features:
- It is an app for organisations who need an easy-to-use, self-implementable, crisis response solution that delivers business continuity plans and media rapidly across all devices.
- It helps response teams to be prepared for any business disaster when it happens. It is a secure way of sending the right action plans to the right people in a crisis situation and to know who is engaged.
- It simplifies the business of managing disasters and disaster simulation at a cost that every business can now afford.
- Our mission has been to provide an easy-to-use app which allows people to consume vital information rapidly. Our platform brings together response team members into a connected mobile network.
- Our objective is to reduce the golden hour response time to under two minutes.
