Following a difficult 18 months in the IT services business, obtaining seven nominations for prominent industry awards has been a terrific reminder of what our tireless employees at Transputec have accomplished. We are very happy to be nominees for Managed Services Provider of the Year in all of the major industry awards for 2021.
CRN Channel Awards
We are honored to be finalists in not one, but four CRN Channel Awards categories, including Managed Services Provider of the Year. Our Managed Services segment has done exceptionally well in the previous year, working with both new and old customers such as major not-for-profit organisations, retail, logistics, and financial services firms. Despite the unpredictable market conditions, we have been able to maintain our high standards of service delivery due to our public cloud competence, credibility, and world-class client satisfaction.
We are shortlisted for:
- Managed Services Provider (MSP) of the Year
- Corporate Reseller of the Year
- Reseller of the Year – sub £100m turnover
- Best Lockdown Project/Initiative
In addition, we’ve been nominated for the best lockdown initiative. This is a new category that celebrates exceptional initiatives that show individuals working together to achieve a common goal in the face of adversity. This award is for Transputec’s Thermavis, a revolutionary thermal scanner set to be released in 2020. The Thermavis Multi-Person Thermal Scanner accurately monitors the skin temperature of up to six people at once and was developed to assist businesses and organisations in promptly and successfully detecting people who have a fever, one of COVID-19’s key symptoms.
The Channel Awards will be held on November 11th, and we look forward to celebrating in person with our industry colleagues.
PCR Awards – MSP Specialist of the Year
Having won this award in 2017, 2018, and 2020, we are once again delighted to have been nominated for the PCR Awards, MSP Specialist of the Year. The PCR Awards celecelebrate very best in the UK PC and tech industry and aim to recognise the hard work, dedication, and resilience shown over the past year.
The pressure is on to keep hold of this prestigious title. However, we are confident as our continued success has always been due to our commitment to deliver technical and market innovations that add real value to our clients. We strive to go above and beyond just selling the hardware and software.
Last year, the awards were hosted by Claudia Winkelman, whom our team was very excited to meet. This year, the awards are on September 29th, and we wait with anticipation to see who will be presenting the awards!
Cloud Excellence Awards – MSP of the Year
The 2021 Cloud Excellence Awards honor the finest in the UK cloud sector, and we’re honored to have been nominated for MSP of the Year. They recognise the most creative and appealing products and sellers throughout the industry, with categories spanning every facet of the cloud.
Transputec observed substantial growth in public cloud services last year as clients explored and adopted the breadth of services and security provided by public cloud providers. With our experience and expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, we have assisted many clients with independent strategic cloud advice, migration, and implementation services, using our low-risk, tried-and-tested methodology, ensuring that any new services are adopted in accordance with defined business imperatives.
This year’s winners will be announced at a live awards ceremony on Thursday, September 23rd, and it will be great to see our cloud industry colleagues in person again.
CRN Women in Channel Awards – Ethnic Diversity Champion Award
And last but not least, once again, Transputec has made the shortlist for this year’s CRN Women in Channel Awards, which celebrate and recognise women from all areas and levels of the channel.
In 2020, service desk and support manager, Anca Otet, won Manager of the Year at the awards. This year, we are thrilled to be one of two finalists for the Ethnic Diversity Champion Award. This is a new category for us, and we’re proud that we have made it to the final, as we are dedicated to supporting all female talent within Transpetc, so it’s great to be recognised for this.
We plan to celebrate with our colleagues and role models in person at the Brewery in London on October 14th.
Customer Satisfaction-Net Promoter Scores
We attribute much of our success to maintaining our high levels of customer satisfaction and sustaining excellent client relationships. Customer satisfaction, retention rate and the willingness of customers to recommend your services (Net Promoter Score) are the key metrics to demonstrate the value that you are adding to your clients.
For the period April 2020 to June 2021 our scores were:
- Customer Happiness Rating: 95% happy
- Customer Satisfaction Rating-96.7% great or good
- Net Promoter Score (NPS) -74%
- Customer Retention Rate (96%)
With over 30 years as an IT services provider for around 400 customers, we are proud of our longevity in a constantly changing and challenging sector.
