London, UK, 26 April, 2013 – UK based charity HAVEN has just announced that they completed the treatment of all their referrals from the January 2013 medical camps. These include two open heart surgeries at the Ananda Lok Hospital by the renowned Heart Surgeon Dr Tapas Roychoudhury and also six other surgeries mainly for women.

Haven, who is working hard to help the poor in rural India, has also expressed sincere gratitude to the visiting Consultants from the UK: Dr Bimal Chakraborty, Dr Sheela Purakaystha and Dr Sudipto Purakayastha. Due to their dedication and hard work and willingness to volunteer their services HAVEN were able to help the patients who were in desperate need.
Furthermore, HAVEN declared the plan to celebrate its 10th year anniversary later this year and hold more medical camps at the time. On Sunday, 12th May 2013 the Charity community will do the Haven annual run to raise funds.

- Physiotherapy Clinic
- Optometry Clinic
- Learning Centre for children who have no other access to schooling
- Elderly Day Care Centre
- IT classes for youths
- Spoken English classes for youths.
In addition, four specialist medical camps are held once a quarter in the year. These are:
- Eye camp
- Heart Camp
- Paediatric Camp
- Gynaecological Camp
