Partnership between Transputec and Harrow College helps apprentices start their career
Transputec is committed to helping apprentices develop their professional and personal competencies. Rickie Sehgal, Chairman says “We value the motivation and enthusiasm they can offer. They gain experience in a variety of job roles, and a recognised qualification through training partners like Harrow College.”
Anthony Hartigan, Apprenticeships Manager at Harrow College says: “Harrow College is a leading provider of Apprenticeships and recognises the benefits of providing work-based learning opportunities with paid employment. As a college we continually strive to seek new opportunities to place young people with supportive employers.
“Working in close partnership with Transputec to fully understand their business model we were able to assist them with the recruitment of a young Business Administration apprentice, Kenal Shah. With the continued support from her assessor here at Harrow College and Transputec, Kenal has developed into a productive employee for the company.
“Both Transputec and her assessor have been extremely impressed with her progress and commitment to the job. Kenal’s story is proof that working together with the right resources and support can help achieve a positive and valuable Apprenticeship experience for both employer and employee.”
Transputec would certainly recommend that other companies hire apprentices. Rickie Sehgal, Chairman added “We’ve found that this is a great way to develop raw talent, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to assist with our future business growth.”
