HSBC recently organised a competition called HSBC Global Connections focused on recognising the UK’s most ambitious businesses. During the past 3 years HSBC have enabled almost 140 businesses to engage in international exchange in some places of the fastest growing economy in the world. In this way HSBC gives opportunities to new ideas. Moreover, these companies have been awarded over £3 billion in funding.
This year, companies with a turnover of up to £100 million, both internationally and domestically-focused, were eligible to enter the competition. HSBC received almost 1600 applications from all industries.
Transputec Ltd was not only an applicant but also became the Area Finalist in this competition. The gala evening took place in London events venue One Mayfair, on the 11 June. Rickie Sehgal, Chairman of Transputec attended this important evening and received the prize which certifies that Transputec reached the final shortlist in the region, impressing the judging panel with the high standard of their submission, and clearly demonstrating their business ambition and forward thinking.
