Transputec recognises the importance that its customers attach to information security, which is why we have sought to implement the highest standards of data handling security, as identified by ISO 27001.
ISO 27001 is the most widely recognised and internationally accepted information security standard. It identifies requirements for a comprehensive Information Security Management System, and defines how organisations should manage and handle information in a secure manner, using appropriate security controls.
ISO 27001 certification and our commitment to high standards ensure that controls are in place to reduce the risk of security threats and avoid any system weaknesses being exploited. The scope of the ISO 27001, and previously held ISO 9001, certification includes design, build, integration, implementation and support of business software and hardware solutions. It also includes the provision of full IT managed services, infrastructure platform services, support contracts, contract fulfilment and consultancy services.
Transputec takes it’s responsiblity for handling sensitive personal and commercial data on behalf of many customers across the globe seriously, and we have invested in processes and systems to ensure that we are meeting the highest possible information security standards.
The ISO 27001 certification recognises that and it comes on top of the recent news that Transputec has just won the title of the best Managed Service Provider (MSP) Reseller of the Year 2017 at the PCR Awards. That award was based on a number of factors, including financial success, marketing expertise, client satisfaction and expertise in managed services products. Taken together these awards demonstrate our continued commitment to quality standards and customer satisfaction.
